The 10^th Moscow International Oil&Gaz Exhibition opened its grounds for the visitors on June 23-26, 2009 to feature about 1000 exhibitors from 36 countries. Among them were Rosneft, Gazprom, TNK-BP, Cameron, National Oilwell Varco, SINOPEC, Total, Weatherford and many other companies specializing in multiple areas of oil and gas industry in Russia and worldwide.

 Discovery’s stand located in Pavilion 2 Hall 2, across the isle from Cameron, became one of the centers of attention by representing the 1 to 30 scale model of the 1600HP Arctic Crawler, complete with functional X and Y skidding package. The model explicitly demonstrated the integrity of the design solutions ensuring the time- and cost efficient, reliable and long-term rig performance which allows the drilling company to achieve its goals notwithstanding the demanding conditions and contingencies of severe northern climate.

 The stand was supported by the team of the experienced project management, marketing and engineering professionals who were busy from the show day opening hours until its closure participating in the meetings, talking to the visitors and providing the answers concerning without limitation the available range of designs, company’s innovative approach, advantages of production facility strategic location, quality standards and care of the rig operating companies’ requirements. The video demonstration gave colorful outline of the history and the present days of the production facility in Stryi.

 MIOGE 2009 was widely covered by the press including Oil & Gas Journal, Neftegaz, Upsteram, ROGTECH, Oil & Capital, Oil & Gas Eurasia and many others.
