Carrier

Self-propelled Carrier Rig is designed for workover and well servicing jobs. It is mounted on a carrier with a formula 8 x 4, 2 front axles and 2 driving axles. Rear axles are equipped with pneumatic brake. The diesel engine with transmission is mounted behind the steering cab. Unit can be equipped with single drum drawworks and auxiliary brake. A two section telescoping mast is designed and manufactured according to API 4F specifications of current revision. The mast is manufactured out of increased strength steel. Testing of the mast is performed under static load with a safety factor of 1.25. The open face design allows block to have maximum clearance. Hydraulic jacks are included, to assist raising the mast and outriggers to level the mast. The height of working platform can be adjusted. Telescoping masts have clear working height up to 30 m (98 ft.). The rig is fabricated according to API standards 4F, 7K, 8C of latest revisions.

Trailer

DISCOVERY Trailer Rig is designed for drilling operations with an operating capacity up to 250 ton hook load capacity. The design includes a hydraulically raised substructure with a 22' drill floor with rotary drilling with the help of top drive. The drilling rig is designed in accordance with API standards for working temperature from 0°C to 55°C.

DISCOVERY Swing Lift Rig is designed for drilling operations with an operating capacity up to 1000 ton hook load capacity. Reliable, safe and trouble free design includes a parallelogram style substructure, which allows quick rig-down and rig-up; cantilevered mast; customized tank system; as well as winterization and skidding packages. DDE Swing Lift can be also modified for drilling in hot weather conditions. Swing Lift Desert Style design includes special equipment for desert region drilling.

Crawler

Discovery’s Crawler Drilling rig with the Box on Box substructure is perfect for Cluster Drilling. Special design allows it to operate under extreme weather conditions. Skidding package is easily adjustable to any type of regions. Save rig up time by installing mast as one piece, no extra spreaders between boxes, block cradle reduces stringing time. Boilers or Hot Air heaters are as options for heating package. Longitudinal skidding of Substructure – 60 meters (200 ft.). Transverse skidding of Drill floor – 6 meters (20 ft.). Wind walls and canvas for all pieces of equipment. Discovery’s crawler type rig is ideal for cold regions cluster drilling.
